I noticed that these have a slightly thinner amount of metal near the windshield frame groove contact area. Compared to a set of mounts made about 15 years ago. Will use them as mirror mounts and saving the earlier versions to mount the hardtop hinges to the windshield frame. Other than the backorder delay, the service from the v-dubstore was wonderful. Definitely shopping with them again!
